How to Crochet a Beanie
How to crochet a beanie? In this tutorial, I show you how to crochet a beanie using the single crochet stitch. This pattern is extremely easy to follow. This beanie works quickly and shouldn’t take you more than 1 hour to complete. The colors used in this pattern can easily be exchanged to fit whatever color scheme you like.

Crochet Easy Beanie Pattern:
Crochet Hook: F / 5 / 3.75MM
Yarn: 4 Medium ~ Big Twist Value brand
Magic Circle
Row 1: 8 HDC inside MC.
Row 2: Following a continuous loop pattern (we won’t be starting or stopping each individual row), place 2 HDC in the BACK st in each st in the row (16 total HDC at the end of the row).
Row 3: *1 HDC in BACK st of st 1, 2 HDC in BACK st of st 2.* Repeat * around the row (24 total HDC at the end of the row).
Row 4: *1 HDC in BACK st of st 1 – 2, 2 HDC in BACK st of st 3.* Repeat * around the row (32 total HDC at the end of the row).
Row 5: *1 HDC in BACK st of st 1 – 3, 2 HDC in BACK st of st 4.* Repeat * around the row (40 total HDC at the end of the row).
Row 6: *1 HDC in BACK st of st 1 – 4, 2 HDC in BACK st of st 5.* Repeat * around the row (48 total HDC at the end of the row).
Row 7: *1 HDC in BACK st of st 1 – 5, 2 HDC in BACK st of st 6.* Repeat * around the row (56 total HDC at the end of the row).
Row 8: *1 HDC in BACK st of st 1 – 6, 2 HDC in BACK st of st 7.* Repeat * around the row (64 total HDC at the end of the row).
Rows 9 -37: 1 HDC in BACK st of each st in each row.
1 SL st in the back st of the next 15 st.
Cut and tie off yarn. Hide tails along the edge of beanie and fold up the brim.
