Row 1: Working in the back of our 1st teddy bear, locate the row of  back loops..  Starting in the last BLO of the left ear, working this like you are looking at the front of the teddy bear, place 1 SC in the next 5 BLO.  Place 1 SC + 1 DC + 1 SC in the following BLO, then place 1 SC in the next 5 BLO.  Place 1 SC + 1 DC + 1 SC in the following BLO, then place 1 SC in the next 5 BLO.  Place 1 DC + 1 TR + 1 DC in the next BLO, then 1 DC in the next 5 BLO.  Place 1 DC + 1 TR + 1 DC in the next BLO.  Place 1 SL st in the 1st SC of the row.

Row 3: CH 1, then starting in the next st, place 1 SC in the following 5  st.  Then place 1 SC + 1 DC + 1 SC in the next st.  Place 1 SC in the next 9 st, then place 1 SC + 1 DC + 1 SC in the next st.  Place 1 SC in the next 9 st, then place 3 DC in the next st.  Place 1 DC in the next 4 st, then place 1 SC in the next st and CH 36, then place 1 SC back in the current st.  Place 1 DC in the next 4 st, then 3 DC in the next st.  Place 1 SC in the next 4 st (the last of these should be the joining SL st from the previous row).  Place 1 SL st in the 1st SC of the row to join.

POUCH SIDE TWO.

Repeat POUCH SIDE ONE until you make it to Row 3.

Place 1 DC in the next 3 st, then CH 3 and skip the next 3 st.  Place 1 DC in the next 3 st, then 3 DC in the next st.  Place 1 SC in the next 4 st (the last of these should be the joining SL st from the previous row).  Place 1 SL st in the 1st SC of the row to join.

Cut and tie off yarn.

Turn the pouch sides so that the side with the teddy bear ears are facing each other (pretty sides in), then attach the yarn to your crochet hook using a slip knot.

Starting in the 1st DC of the corner near the ear, slide your crochet hook on both sides of your pouch (make sure you are working in corresponding stitches), then yarn over and pull through all the loops for a sewing SL st.  Repeat this going around the edges of your pouch until you make it to the last DC of the other corner near the other ear.

Cut and tie off yarn.

Hide tails in the seam of sewing SL st.

Turn the pouch right-side out.
