DIY Crochet Hanging Basket

How to crochet a hanging basket?  In this crochet tutorial, I show you how to crochet a hanging basket that is perfect for a door or wall.  This basket is a loose, netted pattern that shouldn’t take more than 30 minutes to complete.  Over time, it might stretch, but it is perfect for storing scarves, socks, fabric, yarn, etc.  I use mine when I am crocheting to hold my yarn ball, especially if I am crocheting with more than one yarn ball at a time.  I string the yarn through one of the loops in the front and that prevents it from being pulled out of the opening.

This crochet project is part of my Mother’s Day two skein challenge, where I see how many crochet projects I can make with only two skeins of yarn.  All of the projects in this series are dedicated to Mothers Day homemade gift ideas.
