Crochet Hook: F / 5 / 3.75MM
Yarn: 4 Medium ~ Big Twist Value brand
*Note: this pattern has a precursor video: How to Crochet a Beanie Brim: https://youtu.be/V2zw-4mWR8E
Row 1: Create a brim that is 25 st deep and roughly 16’’ wide.  Connect the two edges of the brim with SL stitches.   Fold brim in half lengthwise.  Section off the brim into four even sections using scrap pieces of yarn or st markers.  SL st into corresponding st on the opposite edge of your brim and CH 1, then place 89 SC stitches along the edges of the brim, connecting them together as your work.
Row 2: Following a continuous loop pattern (we won’t be starting or stopping each individual row), *place 1 SC in the FRONT LOOP ONLY (FLO) of the first 5 st, then place 1 SC in the BACK LOOP ONLY (BLO) of the next 5 st.*  Repeat * around the row.
Rows 3 – 6: Repeat like stitches, placing FLO in the previous row’s FLO stitches, and BLO in the previous row’s BLO stitches.
Row 7: Reverse the stitches, placing BLO stitches in the previous row’s FLO stitches, and FLO stitches in the previous row’s BLO stitches.
Rows 8 – 11: Repeat like stitches, placing FLO in the previous row’s FLO stitches, and BLO in the previous row’s BLO stitches.
Rows 12 – 16: Repeat Rows 7 – 11.
Row 17: *1 SC in st 1 – 7, SC 2together in st 8 & 9 (80 total st at end of row).
Row 18: *1 SC in st 1 – 6, SC 2together in st 7 & 8 (70 total st at end of row).
Row 19: *1 SC in st 1 – 5, SC 2together in st 6 & 7 (60 total st at end of row).
