Hair Scrunchie Crochet Pattern

Materials
Crochet Hook: G/6/4.25MM
Yarn: Lion Brand Yarns, Re Up 100% Recycled Cotton & Polyester Blend, 4 Medium (~40 yds)
1 Hair tie of desired size

Attach yarn to crochet hook using a slip knot.

Row 1: working in the hole of the hair tie, place SC stitches around the hair tye.  The goal is to completely cover the hair tie without stretching it.  You can have any number of stitches in this row (I had 28).  SL st into the 1st SC st to join.

Row 2: *Work over starting tail.  Place 5 SC in the BLO of the next st, then place 5 SC in the BLO of each st in the row. SL st into the 1st SC st to join.

Cut and tie off yarn, hiding the ending tail.
