How to Crochet a Basket – DIY Chunky Yarn

How to crochet a basket?  In this tutorial I show you how to make a very simple crocheted basket that is sturdy and functional.  This soft basket uses two skeins of yarn at the same time to create a chunky yarn effect – without the cost (this basket cost $2 in yarn).   This is a great homemade gift and can be completed in about two hours (perfect if you want to cuddle up and watch a movie while you crochet).  This would be a great gift for a newborn baby because the basket is soft and washable (make sure you buy a brand of yarn that is machine washable).  It is also a great gift for a housewarming party, birthday, mothers day, fathers day, or any other holiday.
